The Acolyte: S01E05 “Night“

First Part is here ✅ This thrilling episode continues directly from cliffhangy moment where beautiful fourth ended. Almost whole twenty nine minutes i was close to edge of my -70’s style chair that can spin 360 😋 I like it that Jecki was able to go so well against a bogey who did unusual combat style. None of the Jedi hadn’t experienced it for centuries. It was nice how she made the disarm & fought while dual wielding. Yord did a fine move before her when noticed Stranger’s gear advantage 😋 Knights of Ren 🎶 can be heard during one Stranger’s scene. It’s about the group of warriors that got wasted with no head & tail in bad Sequel Trilogy 😟 Maybe he’s their founder or something. This episode of The Acolyte is stunning, from its lightsaber choreography to other beauty art ✅

At least one new Lightsaber move combined with Force move is shown here. Stranger’s talk about Jedis sorta loonie stance & showing that his actions stem directly from them is el spot on 🙂 Jedis believe that they alone may handle the Force & it’s powah 😑 For a long time i’ve disliked it & hope that now after le bad sequel trilogy there will be stories where also other folks use & can refer it as they please 🤞🏼 This deserves clean 8/10 & would be 8,5 with few changes & ten mins longer runtime. ✅

The Acolyte: S01E06 “Teach / Corrupt“

Episode begins with Osha waking up in a small hideout set up by Stranger. The place is empty & she has a moment to wander around & take a look. Week before this lore in depth episode we got a violent el semi gory filled live act set into Galaxy Far, Far Away 🙂 This one is mostly about conversation & looks into morality & priorities. It’s not a bad change at all as it fits well into pacing ✅ Every good viewer knows that no need to have two episodes of full action in a row. People had a week to recover from absolute banger episode 🧘‍♂️ This one shed more light into lore & even has goofy moment to balance things just lil bit in more darker tone Star Wars Live Act show ⚖ Oh Master Sol why didn’t you travel straight into Coruscant 😒 I believe that here Stranger & Osha are on a planet Bal’demnic 🤔 It’s a significant piece of lore because it was once inhabited by Darth Tenebrous & his student, Darth Plagueis.

On that celestial object, Plagueis murdered Tenebrous. Neither has never had a live-action appearance. It could be that Plagueis is set to be in S02 & talented crew behind this show is gonna fill the semi gaps in timeline ✅ Maybe Plagueis was in Brendok’s tragic location & did the nasty finisher shown at end of el beauty fourth episode 🤔 Not the one by Stranger ^^ Star Wars 95: No Zeltrons in 1985 is a Book & Year when Lightwhip was introduced first time in beautiful Star Wars Universe 🙂 Pip’s reset also adds to list of no witnesses at Brendok. On this less boom time i enjoyed the creature design shown at coastline. Jung-jae kept hitting the spotlight again 🥳 Sol’s painful time feels so real that i almost literally felt sorry for him. It’s a well crafted act of emotion for a character ✅ Bueno 7,5/10 ^^

The Acolyte: S01E07 “Choice“

This begins with eye massaging on location set in Wales. Galaxy Far, Far Away place is on Planet Brendok where Indara, Torbin, Kelnacca & Sol are taking samples from flora & fauna when do a field research for the Jedi Order ✅ Here we get reveals for what really happened on Brendok all those years ago. “Choice” gives us the events from the Jedis point of view. It’s up to a viewer to decide who’s the baddie. Many thought Mae to be responsible, but not quite as the actual truth is more painful. Some of it is because of understandable mistake that any sentient being with emotions could do, yes even a Jedi 🤔 At evening the group is relaxing by the campfire, where Kelnacca prepared fried Nuna leg to everyone.

Those who don’t consume carcass pieces are in trouble when decline Wookiee’s meal offer 😬 Master Sol seemed to enjoy a double dish after work. He told to Indara’s Padawan the reason for the studies on Brendok ✅ They’re looking for a vergence, which is a high concentration of the Force. It could’ve created life on the planet. It was mentioned in 📗 long ago. Later on is revealed what Torbin saw when Mother Aniseya went into his mind. She basically isolated thoughts & speaking to his fears, desire etc. ✅ That beautiful scene is lil spooky & well done. Aniseya didn’t mean harm by doing so & knowing this & clash later, it’s kinda no wonder why Torbin took the Brash Vow 🤔 Okey 7/10 ^^

The Acolyte: S01E08 “The Acolyte“

Here first scene continues where sixt ended. Osha had lil troubles with the Mask. Same way that’s mentioned in Star Wars book long time ago ✅ Earlier we thought Mae & Osha were the Vergence in the Force, but now knowing that they’re result of it. This means we still are a bit in the woods with this one. I guess more about it to be revealed on next season 🤞🏼 We also get more of eye candy here in S01 Finale in land & space. I look forward to su-mo when restream S01’s last two episodes at Disney+ 🙂 I enjoy seeing hand-to-hand & kinda martial arts combat that’s not common in Galaxy Far, Far Away.

Also couple abilities got their first live act screentime during a well crafted encounter. One is where user could fire Force energy like a wave 😋 That is called Force Repulse, it can shove or knock down anyone within in close proximity. Few other things that i like in this: The grey hooded robe that Osha wears by the beach. One of many fine wardrobe picks on this season. General look of Jedi Temple, camera angles in several scenes & pacing not bad at all. Here good use of fourty five minutes runtime with a lot of eye candy treatments 🙂 It also set up a lot of elements for beautiful season 2 ^^ Goosebumpy surprise & sorta two of em. Clear 8/10 & close to 8,5 if would’ve got gentle touch to smooth things. I’ll probably mention it at S01 spoily update by early – middle August 🙂 The one where i talk more about this season.

Many questions & story pathways are in the wild now after mostly El Bueno S01. The Wait for S02 begins. Thanks to Headland, Kogonada, Culpepper & others who brought this eye & ear massage season to us 🙂

About things:
S01 would be el perfecto if it got ten episodes, no matter what duration when pre end credits. What Is A Vergence? It is a space where the Force is strong & flows freely, allowing it to be manipulated or used by beings skilled with Force. It’s also been called a “Force Nexus” as it can be a meeting place between strong channels of the Force that give those around them even more power & access to it ✅ The final move at lightsaber duel in ruined fortress is a nice tribute to samurai roots mentioned by George back in the days 🙂 I hope that Master Torbin left his knowledge to databank in Jedi Holocrons. He was clearly very strong with Jedi mindpowah 🤔

The Acolyte’s stunt crew should be hired to work also on other live act shows. Sol wasn’t wrong with thoughts he had about the incident in Fort used by Witches. The whole conflict started by Witch’s mind when invaded the padawan’s body without consent. I wish good time to everyone when stream this nice Star Wars Telly show at Disney+ & relax well in Galaxy Far, Far Away 🧘‍♂️🍵🥪🍎 I’ll add that spoily update when time is ready. Be kind to others & always help elder when see that requires assist ^^

What’s The Beautiful Acolyte about ?

Filming of S01 went through in London & at Shinfield Studios in Berkshire ^^ The on location filming was done in Wales & Portugal. On location sets look amazing ^^ This beautiful Telly show’s era takes place a century before the events of Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace ✅ It’s sorta focused on the rising of dark side powers in the final days of the High Republic Era. It introduces a respected Jedi Master who is investigating a series of crimes. He meets a former Padawan of his & not long after it they encounter evil at work 😬 Here is my first Live Act Star Wars review. S01E01 “Lost / Found“

This Live Act Star Wars adventure begins with gorgeous scenery of a foggy planet Ueda. Character played by talented Amandla Stenberg walking towards a bar. There Jedi Master Indara who is played by Carrie- Anne Moss is attacked by a woman who uses daggers at fights ✅ Later on The bartender identifies Osha Aniseya, a former Jedi Padawan, as the killer. It’s because she’s a twin of a character who fought at first scene. Osha works as a meknek, the profession that includes hazard work outside of starships. She denies committing the crime when arrested by Jedi Knight Yord Fandar & his Padawan Tasi Lowa. I noticed that Amandla Stenberg has the ability to play twin role very well with a soft touch. Mae & Osha characters played by Amandla connect feels lil bit similar to the Force Dyad 🤔 I’d say the pilot a.k.a opener episode gets 6.5/10 & would be 7 if the distraction at noodles joint scene not be so faulty. This & more episodes streaming in Disney+ 😋 Highlight: Droid ship goodies & facehuggah in Galaxy Far, Far Away ✅

S01E02 “Revenge / Justice“

Quite soon after i launched the relaxing with this one i noticed that pace in general is much better than at opening episode 🧐 On this episode the viewer spends more time following Mae character. That allows viewer to learn more about what drives her & what she plans to do. The mystery of what happened in the past still a closed book ✅ The episode opens with what looks like an easy kill for Mae, as she finds her next target, Master Torbin meditating in a room, floating in place. He’s been doing it for a long time & with great Jedi power as soon after it is shown. This fan’s eyes & ears got a nice treat because of temple’s atmosphere, life on the street, people passing by & so on 🤤 One of the good moments is also when Jecki talks to Osha on a ship & slight smile before great Jedi Master Sol walks into room =) Another el bueno display of vibrant Star Wars Universe in Live Act production 🙂 The end scene is pure goodiness. S01E02 gets 7/10 & would be seven & half if first escape scene be more clear. Highlight: Sol’s movements at end & life around the temple ✅

S01E03 “Destiny”

On a planet Brendok sixteen years earlier, a younger Verosha Aniseya (“Osha”) is meditating in a forest grove beneath a bunta tree. She admires a butterfly-like insect. Her sister Mae-ho Aniseya (“Mae”) finds her meditating ✅ When Osha says the bunta tree is beautiful, Mae replies that the tree is dangerous. Osha responds that only its fruit is dangerous. Mae uses her Force Powers to suspend the insect until Osha tells her to let the creature go. On this scene i like the colourful setting in Galaxy Far, Far Away & well done with kids being as they are 🙂 Later, the sisters & Zabrak Mother Koril enter a mountain fortress populated by ladies of various species. The two sisters want some biscuits called as spice creams (not the illegal spice as that’s different), but Koril denies it as punishment because they left the fortress. All good though because other lady known as Mum Aniseya told them that biscuit munch time lil after 🥳 This place is a home for Witches that are sorta familiar sight in Galaxy Far, Far Away. Seeing other than Dathomir Witches & how they performed things was a welcome experience 🙂 Do they have any connection to ones that live in Dathomir, hmm that be nice to know 🤔

I guess this is explained in High Republic books that i’ll buy later this year from Amazon Co Uk. Chanting & song during the ritual is what Witches usually do on here it’s done quite well ✅ Everyone who have seen their work in movies & telly shows through decades knows that it’s like this 🙂 The scene where they display the use of Force for children is nice. There’s even a realism part where kids just being well -kids. This Witch group calls the Force as ‘Thread‘ & nothing wrong with it because for decade+ it’s known that Force sensitive beings interpret it differently ✅ I like the wardrobe & small details on bodies. Live Act Zabrak after couple decades & Jodie Turner’s performance, ah award worthy 🧐 The incident scene is also quite good & especially when knowing that this style of storytelling is el bueno when done right & here it is so 🙂 It was shown from Osha’s POV. On S01E05 or S01E06 we’ll get to see more of what happened in Brendok. Story for S01 is still mostly inside the wraps 🤔 S01E03 gets 7/10 🙂 Highlight: On Location Sets, Lighting & Makeup work ✅

Did S01E03 break lore ? No it didn’t. Way too many people suffer with subjectivity in Star Wars lore talks & so on.

S01E04 “Day“

This beautiful episode was shot in three places. On Location Sets were used in Wales & Portugal & rest shot in London Studios 🧐 Here The Acolyte show brings us back to the present day storytelling. One of the nice things shown here is how human like the thoughts & such on this world can feel despite being in a galaxy far, far away. No i don’t mean that our reality be transfered there & then reason to complain. After short glimpse to Kelnacca’s home in Koshar we enter into Jedi Temple in Coruscant. There Osha watches Jecki during a training session before says thanks for helping her find Mae. During nice talk they have, Osha says that she’ll also share stories about their master when time is ready ✅ This is first time in Live Act Star Wars since Episode 2: Attack of the Clones when we see more than two Jedi team up together 😋

The group come to a place in a Khofar forest where alien vibe creatures are attached to trees. One of them wakes up when Osha touches it. Osha shouts Master Sol’s name & things happen 😬 This makes for a welcome creepies moment in Star Wars Galaxy 🧐 It’s nice to see on this El Beauty episode that Derek Arnold took over the work from Silas Carson as the younger Ki-Adi-Mundi. He’s a puppeteer & actor, his biography includes many roles in Star Wars. Those include work in movies like Le Sigh Awakens a.k.a Semi New Hope by J.J.A. & Rogue One. ✅ Why didn’t more bugs wake up & attack the group. Yord’s Padawan, Tasi Lowa hmm she’s been absent since her brief appearance in series opener episode 🤔 I hope we see hat Zygerrian Jedi later. S01E04 would get 7,5 if more than one buggy had woken up & that create bigger danger. 🙂 I guess they come to disturb the encounter at next episode because of noise & light. I’ll stream S01E05 soon via D+ at 1am. Restream maybe at sunday. Highlights: Good short talks with characters, Bayrn species briefly shown at spaceport scene & one other. The beauty of On Location Sets & the floating down part close to end ✅

Did S01E04 break lore with that appearance ? No not at all 🙂

Wrapping up: First half of S01 gives the captivating Star Wars feeling 💯% Nice visuals, ear massage audio, on location sets, wardrobe & dialogues not bad at all ✅ Yord is cool Jedi Knight who closely follows rules & likes to keep Jedi robe in fine condition. Sol is a nice Jedi Master with good intentions. Jecki seems like a smart young Jedi who wants to live a good life in the path she has chosen. Carrie should’ve stayed around longer in present day. Many scenes where Indara investigates with Sol would’ve been welcome 🤔 It’s not a deal breaker though ✅ Lee Jung dedicated his time for the character & learned more London language, respect ^^ The way he speaks at certain volume & situations, le perfecto. I hope that Ewan welcomes him into Star Wars Family if hasn’t yet. Talented Amandla got it from Hayden 🙂 After 4x episodes The Acolyte is 7/10 ^^ I’ll add at web soon.

Episode 4 7/10

Pros:
Ewan McGregor & Indira Varma. Beautiful reference / stolen encounter display at one of the rooms with Stormtroopers. Which one did it better, Starkiller or Obi-Wan ^^ That choreography was good, but also flawed. Now at Mickey’s SW the Lightsaber actually bounces off from Stormtrooper’s armor before goes through on next attempt 😮 Sad to see that Boba’s Gaffi Stick seems to be stronger as it didn’t perform so weakly when he put down bogies in Mandalorian S02.
Cons:
Perfect moment for Clone Wars flashbacks while Obi is in the bacta recovery, But naah.. Obi-Wan used the Force to swiftly dry up his outfit (wasn’t shown) after got into the base. Didn’t wear the armor of the knocked stormtrooper. It’s the ‘SW THING TO DO‘, but nah lets not do it :/ Now to think of it, it couldn’t have been done cause of the uber cringey scene at end of the episode. Obi-Wan walks through sec checkpoint while Leia is under the massive trench coat.. 😀 :/ Which one did it better: Austin Powers or Obi-Wan ? Tala does gentle head slap & down goes stormtrooper. 🧐 Darth Tantrum Inquisitor calls Obi-Wan as Kenobi to Leia & not Ben as Obi spoke to Leia. Now Leia knows this is Obi-Wan Kenobi. So it ruined the “help me Obi-Wan Kenobi” you helped my father in the Clone Wars.. ‘I forgot that you helped me when i was a kid.’ <– 😀 :/

‘Is this a staring contest‘ ? <-Words from youngling at interrogation room. Reva didn’t think to check if kiddo is Force Sensitive.. Only replies ‘You’re Strong‘ <– 🤔 👀 She couldn’t mind read ten year old, but did to adult earlier on EP02. No reaction to it 🤦‍♂️ We’re somehow supposed to believe that she’s competent enough in ‘The Force‘ as a 10-year old to (easily) block mind reading from a trained Inquisitor. Then takes 9x years for her to have the ability to sense things with ‘The Force‘ like she does in “Return of the Jedi“. Since Tie-Fighters shown in the hangar, they should have been used. Staying idle= They shouldn’t have been shown in the first place. Opening shot of the Fortress without the TIE-Fighters would’ve been fine. But no because lack of focus.

T-47’s are 2 person vehicles. One was destroyed, leaving 1x vehicle for 4 people. How did they make it happen ? Magic ❤ 2 Inquisitors are in the hangar, Reva is the only one that does something (not useful) while the other (Fifth Brother) stands there & yells. I’d rather watch a slow paced spinoff of Tera Sinube than Darth Tantrum toy woman doing unuseful moves. Fortress Inquisitorius defenses should have detected the rebel ship once in orbit. On the Rebels telly show ‘Fifth Brother‘ puls the ‘Phantom’ ship & therefore stopped it from leaving the base. He doesn’t try anything at Kenobi S01E04 except yells as mentioned 🤦‍♂️

Yes this is badly timed filler episode that has lots of goofiness.

Shame on apologists for saying that Vader let Obi go on purpose at EP03 because Obi was so weak that Vader felt cheated. Well, seems like he’s pretty interested in capturing him at end of EP04, doesn’t it? :/ The real Darth Vader would’ve Force Choked her while she’s in the air. Yes she placed the tracker into Lola, but Vader could’ve given that job to GI, Fifth Brother or Fourth Sister. This tracker getaway from being killed is über dumb. Mainly because Revan, mean ‘Reva’ would’ve needed to make sure that Fifth Brother with ‘Raiden Fan Hat’ or Fourth Sistah won’t be there to stop them from escaping. Vader was clearly angered after Obi escaped. Still he let Reva live & bowed to her like “i underestimated you“, ‘Hug‘ ?

In one scene Obi can barely move a 1 inch piece of metal with the ‘Force’ then 5mins later he is able to stop huge pressurised water flow into corridor. Vader had same in Fallen Order game. Obi did it all while fighting ST’s with other hand. Not to forget that in SW they use Transparasteel. Not glass.. There’s something oddly cheap about the ‘escape from Fortress Inquisitorius‘. Seen in an awkward sequence involving Reva deflecting blaster shots while clearly not in eyeline with T-47. When looking at The Mandalorian & cinematic quality of the Andor trailer, it stings to see ‘Kenobi‘ occasionally feel like a b-tier show. Should be same & higher. Most waited SW Telly show has 33min filler episode.. Why? EP04 is a missed opportunity. It would fit into mid of 8-10x eps long S01, not to one with 6x 30-42min each.

Golden OT:
Admiral: “Lord Vader, the fleet has moved out of light speed & we‘re preparing to a-“
Darth Vader: “You’ve failed me for the last time Admiral” (force choked to Death)
Kenobi show up to EP06:
Darth Tantrum: “I do what I please & if you don’t like it, Not my Problem.”
Darth Vader: “Yes Ma’am, let me know if you need anything & enjoy.”

Episode 5 6.5/10

Pros:
Ewan McGregor & Hayden Christensen. It’s great to see that Obi-Wan’s Lightsaber in the flashback scene is the old one that he lost in AOTC. This attention to detail by someone got a praise from me ^^ “Your need for victory Anakin, it blinds you..” 😪 Anakin’s Eyes totally expressive at that moment, distress & sort of frustration on his mind 😳 Wiuh so so good to see Anakin & Obi-Wan together like back in the days ❤ Hayden likes the behind-the-back blade twirl & done well ^^ Obi-Wan circled while one-handed is how he engages Count Dooku at the end of SW:EP02 when he blocks his lightning 👌
Cons:
Maybe this time he really ran out of Force Juice / Energy Level & that’s why didn’t try to Force pull the ship that appeared from behind the wrecked one. Vader to have such powah doesn’t make sense when it’s done outside SWEU. No, it wasn’t good reference to what ‘Starkiller‘ did to bigger ship & redirected it. *Chewie Giggidy face.* Now we come back to silly part of Reva knowing that Darth Vader is Anakin Skywalker 😮 Part of canon is that the Emperor & Vader hunted down everyone who knew it. They definitely wouldn’t have let one become an Inquisitor.

It’s satisfying to see Vader toying with Reva without breaking a sweat & no need for own Lightsaber Included blocking the strikes with force & ordering the flow of “combat” with ‘dance‘ moves.. Then came the sad fact that he & GI left the job undone. At Mickey’s SW not even the Lightsabers are competent enough as they can’t kill body of weak species when torso gets hit. Saved when the plot demands it. Shame for Qui-Gon & some Jedis who got hit by LS into same spot. They were without same plot armor. 100x less interesting character had it 😞 Mickey’s Corporation even managed to indirectly ruin his death. Now even humies can survive from Lightsaber stab. Twice that is if the first time was a stab 😒

Episode 6 8/10

Pros:
Ewan McGregor & Hayden Christensen. We actually get some Legacy OST to massage our ears. It was brief joy joy & better late than never. This series or show finale is emotionally driven, beautiful mostly 90% canon preserving artwork. Good one even it’s literally dark for most of runtime. This eats full point from rating. Sadly it’s a way to save production work & expenses on many cases. I was hoping to see Obi to do Force Jump after cleared the rocks above him. Moments later cheered when Obi turned into supah saiyan mode & channeled precious skill from youngling days 💪 Then made the beautiful leap strike which cracked the helmet.

It’s a sort of a copy (cracked other side) from Ah-Soka vs Vader in animated Clone Wars show, but no matter. When Vader said “You didn’t kill Anakin, I did” the goosebumbsieez took over. The light on Anakin’s face changes while he talks,🔵 until he says the kill part, it turns 🔴 Hayden & Ewan delivered the goodies during the “meet up” at moon 💯 Switch between JOJ’s & Hayden’s voice is brilliant. I’ll definitely rewatch this encounter many times via Mickey+ I can forgive the silly brief moment when Obi has goofy grip on Lightsaber. I felt the man tears approaching when he mentioned the ‘lost friend‘ 🥺
Cons:
Once Vader is few meters away from the shuttle he says: “Have you come to destroy me?” <- I thought he was chasing Obi-Wan & Obi decided to go there to see what’s cooking so that future rebels get to safety. I would’ve suggested line: “So Obi-Wan this is where you want to die..” Kenobi flying away after his win? <- Send few Tie Fighters or use the Star Destroyer nearby / in orbit. Guess those ‘thought requiring‘ moves would’ve been too much cause of runtime addition & more 🙄 Then again, if Mickey’s crew acknowledges that they exist, then they have to write intelligent stories to explain how things happen. How did Reva leave the base when no ships remained after refugees left first & then Vader with GI ? Mickey’s Magic again 🧐 How did aunt Beru know that Reva “The Iron Torso” comes to farmstead during the dark 👨‍🏫

Not to forget the fact that Obi-Wan fought Vader at the same time as Reva was at farmstead, but when Obi had defeated Vader he managed to travel to Tatooine in minutes. He made it on time to confront Reva & forgive her all with lil pep talk. It makes no sense since travelling a grid in the SW galaxy takes hours. Noticed how night-time on that area when Obi landed & on planet approach scene he lands to area with daytime 🙃 How could Owen miss his first shot on Reva. She was literally standing still. Maybe he went through the Stormtrooper training program 🥴 Pst: He didn’t know that wife had weapons hidden at downstairs. Planet with hostile creatures & raiders looting at least once a month i assume. Even knowing these he’s so crap shot that misses still target 😳 Lill after when he waits Reva on a ledge, he doesn’t shoot at all & that gave edge to character who magically traveled to Tatooine.

Why didn’t at least Beru chase Reva with speeder once she went to run after Luke. Owen couldn’t cause of his bad knee. Should have left fear behind. Owen & Beru should’ve set crossfire ambush, not both to stay on same side. The ost is mostly dull & generic through the season. In Rebels animated series it uplifted episodes to be a lot better & same for Clone Wars esp. last few on S07 ✨🎶 Joby Harold who’s one of the Kenobi writers said publicly that he hasn’t seen ROTS. He also said that didnt know Obi Wan knew Anakin being Darth Vader 😮 He joined to write the most hyped show of this decade, but doesnt look into material source 🙆‍♂️ He went to consult with clown Pablo Hidalgo. “Red LS crystals are faulty” Why: Didn’t kill Plot Armored Reva who’s species is human. GI’s survival was expected cause he’s a Pau’an species. No fear of infection & have two stomachs. Their average lifespan is 700years. Mostly pointless character Reva (why name her so close to greatest Jedi) got stabbed (or slashed & stabbed) & all good, walks in sunshine 🤯 Lightsaber can even go through Parasteel Doors (element used in SW Universe) & no doubt it would destroy entrails of sentient being. Doesn’t kill youngling who got hit.. Youngling strike not shown by end of S01E06. She only told at Path’s base that she hid under the youngling corpses. Okey, did Anakin just blindly swing younglings at temple & plot armored Reva survived cause of it ?

Obi could’ve finished Vader before OT events took place, but he didnt. So every sentient being killed by Vader after duel in nameless moon is partially his fault. Alderaan & more if include SWEU content. Not those after Mustafar duel because he thought Anakin dies when he made the mistake about high ground. The entire OT is down to Obi-Wan letting Vader go for no apparent reason. If he let him live because it’s Luke’s job to take him down then that was very blind decision cause of The Empire. Even Kenobi the looong waited show & it’s possibly only S01 was a 65% letdown, i’ll keep Mickey+ sub enabled cause of waiting for ‘Andor‘ pilot episode to air on late August 😋 Ewan saved a lot of points for it.

Yes there’s almost two months ‘empty‘ time after Kenobi’s season 1 finale 😦 Season word as i dream of S02 rumor to come true. Also waiting for Willow’s return as telly series, Mandalorian S03 Feb. next year & mostly wait for Ah-Soka on same year. Now hoping for Quinlan Voss on Kenobi’s possible S02 or on Ah-Soka series. Then not to get killed cause he’s entertaining Jedi 🙂 My ‘true‘ Star Wars joy content so far up to this day 28.6.6022 (2022 by oldest storybook timeline) is movies 1-6, Rogue One, Legends books & comics that i’ve read. I’ve bought many as EBook. Here’s a fine ear massage since we didn’t get legacy tracks (two isn’t enough) through the six episodes. Episode 1 8.5/10

If you haven’t watched all six episodes by now then go here & enjoy streaming. After that down below is spoiler free content.

Pros:
Ewan McGregor, Rubert Friend & Joel Edgerton. This opening a.k.a pilot episode is a fantasticoo start to the series when remove some of the bad parts like darth tantrum inquisitor messing around in the town & few others that is written below. Its well-paced (second one not so much) & gives semi well created sceneries in the planet that’s most known in this galaxy. Torn up strong & wise Jedi who isn’t much of a Jedi at this stage is working on some carcass ripping yard. Staying low to not get into Empire’s radar. Beautiful execution when these daily life steps are repeated few times.

Cons:
Reva comes across as an unnecessary “insert” a side character with paper thin development shoved further onto centre stage than is merited. Already on this pilot episode some scenes would’ve had more impact without her Darth Tantrum attitude messing up things. She scarcely has any depth like Ventress, Melisandre & even Serleena from MIB2 to name few. She’s a plank character just like Rey ‘Mary Sue’ Palpatine from 80% horrid Sequel Trilogy. Her attempt of showing threat doesn’t go far & on this opening episode it felt cringey & forced. Obi should’ve had more empathy with reply to lost young Jedi named ‘Nari‘ when asked for guidance. Obi offers no help other than to run & hide. Shame on ya.. Even he was avoiding Force connection to stay out of Dark Side’s touch, he should’ve helped Nari.

The chase scene where adults are clumsier than semi toddler is a disgrace telly work on this show that’s meant to set into rough era in the Galaxy. Short, but effective fix by Zebra3Girl is gold. On the one what we got, how can they trip over obstacles that are no problemo for youngling & why didn’t these bh’s have stun gun for contracts like this. Yes it can be used to younglings. I bet that Joby was the one who wrote this & unintentionally it comes as laughter scene. All it needs is cartoon ost ^^ Lets not forget the silly fact of treating sandy planet as joke no matter what universe it’s in. Obi-Wan went to dig up his Lightsabe presumably after 10 years. It was just Half meter or so under the sand surface 🙃 Most likely written by Joby or there’s another dumbo with same profession on that crew who don’t deserve to work with adult series. Those people forget that Tatooine’s constant sandstorms would’ve buried it wayy below the surface after a decade 💨🤔

Episode 2 7/10

Pros:
Ewan McGregor & Kumail Nanjiani. This gets lil bigger score than it should cause of well built background and props for the city in Planet Daiyu where Obi-Wan moves around. Planet that’s introduced for the first time. It brings me joy cause of more in depth sw & cp feels. Multicultural life in sw galaxy far away is always great to see & let eyes feast on it. Kumail is one of the highlights & he delivers bag of goodies as usual.

Cons:
Plot Armored semi pointless character thinks of takedown plan & again speaks alone behind the back of person who just gave orders in front of her. It showed that Reva is slightly whacko. Grand Inquisitor that i liked right after his first scene at EP01 got removed cause of dumb reasons.. 😦 GI would’ve seen that betrayal coming & prepare for it if written properly. Sadly Mickey Corporation’s crew for Kenobi came with bad excuse to sideline him so Missy Darth Tantrum a.k.a plot armored character can take the center stage from all Inquisitors 😦 Yes, at the end of the S01E06 (season finale if we get S02) it’s clear that Inquisitors could’ve been shown better way if done with passion. Instead we got identity politics shoved into our eyes 🤯

Grand Inquisitor showed his strength already at ep01 when was able to stop lightsaber strike with the ‘Force’. I would love all episodes 100x more if Grand Inquisitor had been part of them & it would increase rewatch value big time. EP02 has bad pacing at midway. Reva’s weird parkour scene is slow, bonkers & unnecessary. That’s also where bad pacing comes into picture. It’s a copy of introductory scene in the first “Matrix” where Trinity does same. Not much else bad to say about this mostly beautiful episode that’s set into nice scenery.

Talented & great on stage person Temuera Morrison played abandoned Clone Trooper.

Episode 3 7.5/10

Pros:
Ewan McGregor, Hayden Christensen & Indira Varma. Leia & Obi traveling at back of hovering work transport vehicle has good moments like when Obi tells Leia that wish he would be her father. Nice acting by Ewan & Vivien. Loader droid holding the wrench (or hammer, don’t recall now), while enemy troopers inside is genius addition ❤ Also those many markings on wall left by jedis & other people of high value. I like them even half dumb to add into building that’s deep in zone controlled by enemy faction. Vader’s throne room in the wide shot, actually resembles his mask. Pretty nice detail added by someone ✍️

Cons:
Few Stormtroopers ask a ride from the driver to their outpost. They hop in to back of the vehicle where Obi & Leia are sitting. Obi & Leia survive the background questions. They replied to Obi-Wan that they have long way to go, but just about minute later they stop cause of the Empire outpost is nearby.. 😀 Better way would’ve been to let them go all the way to sec checkpoint where Obi had a blaster fight. There to use his Lightsaber for the first time on Kenobi show. Then force pull that Stormtrooper who he shot with blaster on the version that we got. He felt down to lazeer gate & was split in half.

So yeah bodies cut in half & limbs being cut means that Star Wars definitely not meant ‘only‘ for kids as still many weird people say. Darth Vader making illogical civ kills on his way towards the tunnel building. No that wasn’t logical way to pull Jedi (Obi-Wan) into the open even knowing what GI said at EP01. That first arrival of Darth Vader on the show would’ve been BUENO moment to use some golden Legacy OST. Didn’t happen 😦 How did Tala get out of the tunnel system without passing Reva? How did Reva get to the end of the tunnel to meet Leia without passing Leia who was already in the tunnel & on her way to the end? How did the loader droid know to suddenly leave the scrap shop and go save Kenobi? Dumb refugees & Jedis for writing recognisable things to walls at building that leads to tunnel. It’s set in Empire controlled planet. Small fire stopped Vader & didn’t clear it at second time. Maybe Vader ran out of Force energy level so soon 😮

Including the Cybernetic hand 😛 When people walked out from the building there was lots of Negative Talk & clear frustration in the air. I don’t blame them at all.. Ruin Johnson & Kathleen Kennedy Ruined 30+ Years Franchise with few shameful moves on Mickey’s SW “Sequel Trilogy” :/

Returning OT Characters Could’ve Shared the Spotlight 50/50 with Jar Jar Finn & the rest of New Characters. If writing done like in Cobra Kai Youtube Series ❤ C.Kai is Karate Kid continuation, but from Eyes of Cobra Kai. Everyone who has seen New Cobra Kai knows this. Sadly New Chars have had more Screen Time. Even Purple Haired bad Commander who lacked Military Tactics & was at High Ranking Position.. Many can’t understand new Characters cause they lack depth & story.

Pushing Returning Chars down to ditch is what Disney & K.Kennedy aimed for :/ *2x smackies to chest & Raises Fist to salute Mark Hamill*. Horrible thing done to Luke.. Only to push out very loved Character with Ridiculous writing :/ R.Johnson said years ago that he dislikes writing & likes to copy from the best. It was seen on TLJ. Luke Would’ve thought of taking down someone while on zzz ONLY IF gone to Dark Side.
