Superman: Legacy is a superhero film from DC Comics. Written & directed by talented James Gunn, it’s the first film in the DC Universe (DCU) 🤤 This beautiful movie was produced by DC Studios it being second reboot of the Superman 📽 series. This movie’s influences include the comic book All-Star Superman by Grant Morrison & Frank Quitely.
20.7 was my third Superman: Legacy screening & final fourth will be 24.7 🧘♂️ After that i wait for dig pre-order from @AppleTV 📺 Appy. Now to think of it, i might go for fifth 26.7 as bling drop day is day before. I saw someone’s writing that pre-ordered from ITunes, but no biggy for me. I also buy the steelbook: The Art and Making of the Film Location: @AmazonUK 📘 Definitely not to forget purchase of Krypto keychain. Wiuh this fact: At least 7x actors in beautiful Superman: Legacy movie are born on July 🙃

When a Delta Force Team is sorta ambushed in enemy territory, a rookie officer went all the way to make sure that encounter gets positive ending. They rely on a Air Force drone pilot who has eyes on the sky through fourty eight hour fight for survival 🤞🏼 The plot of “Land of Bad” is thin, but action scenes are solid. Rockets fired from air, shoulder, planes & choppers. There’s also MGs that blast away at times & even hand to hand combat 🤼♀️ Previous review is here. It’s second of a two part review. Not bad jungle action time ^^
It’s nice to see Milo Ventimiglia and Ricky Whittle on a same movie. Ricky deserved to return after his good time at ‘American Gods‘ Telly show that got three seasons. It should’ve got one more to reach solid four 😒 Here viewers see two Hemsworth brothers together on screen and Liam not failing the lead part. Luke popped from telly show to movie after spent many years in Westworld, the one that was a success ✅ R.Crowe did the character work so well that i wonder if any other actor had reached the same height as Captain Eddie Grimm who is a drone operator. Eddie was wearing hawaiian shirt under the jacket that was open, this while at work 🤔 This wouldn’t be allowed while doing it. Eubank definitely knew how to deliver a quarter over hour and half boom boom in the jungle 👌🏼
Good ride after a slow’ish start.
The Land of Bad has pacing issue at least twice, not a biggie. This is a good action flicky to wind-down with at evening after day’s activites. I streamed via Amazon Prime Video by using Telly Application 🛋📺 I make the digital purchase via AppleTv store at end of this month as i want to support like that as well. Mostly because people did bad move by not going to it’s screening 😒 There’s one short scene not far from end that fits to totally unreal box. It doesn’t bother me because mind set to complete wind-down mode ✅ There’s some humour included at first segment and later. One of em happens when Eddie talks to Sgt. JJ Kinney to calm him after a tense combat 🧘♂️ Eddie says words that mock people who have full empathy level which of course means vegans. It’s oldie and to it’s defense i gotta say that naturally they let others know just as someone with severe food allergy would 🤔 Yes not literally the reason with every individual who doesn’t eat carcass pieces that had a face, but comparison is solid.
Lets say that two out of five people in a group going to restaurant are vegans ☮ Of course they let others know about it before eating at table or before go inside 🙂 Later Eddie character goes to buy these tasty v products so it’s sorta baffling to see that Eubank added mockery talk into a scene where it didn’t fit & later same character is supporting those same people 🤔 I know it would be good for Russell to enjoy some of em. So about recommending this movie, well yes and leave the brain to real world off mode & enjoy 🍵🥪 I give sorta generous 7/10 & to add it soon at couple websites. First time i delved into this series was few years ago. Review of first is here: Book Adventures PT1 🙂 The second part i finished on last summer. Sequel begins right of from where Apprentice Assassin ended. The Royal Assassin really gave a sense of good adventure & wind-down was a success at every evening when i went to read. This sequel isn’t a letdown at all so downer expectation wiped away 🙂 Like the first one, Royal Assassin is character-driven book with slow pacing, but still satisfying with it’s creativity. Almost every side character received good amount of development as i see it. I plan to relax with third book from Realm of the Elderlings series within next three months 🧘♂️📖 Fitz meets new characters, one of them being ‘Nighteyes’, a kind 🐺

During most of time in first book, Fitz spends his time doing what others asked. On this one, Fitz goes a bit rogue as in he’s more of his own person, even though he does things mostly for people he does it in his own way 👌🏼 By anticipating important things he does get himself into trouble, which is what makes this book el bueno. Fitz makes his own choices, with his own consequences. Fitz also endures more struggles than his time as apprentice. Some events in the first left marks on him, causing weakness that make him less of a complete assassin. If you like book 1 (my review link at top) then read this sequel & if not fan of first, well still read 😏 These books take you into good journeys. I can see myself re-reading them when time is ready 😋
The Shadow of The Gods “Bloodsworn Saga #1”
This great book is set in a Norse inspired world, there we follow three different people on their journeys while get to know old gods etc. In this world there are warriors, witches & magic. First i have to say that this was one of the best steps into a new fantasy series in a decade or so 👌🏼 Already then i felt good connection with the world created by talented author John Gwynne. This is set in the land of Vigrid, the Battle Plain, hundreds of years after a war between the deities. Shadow of the Gods tells three separate tales, with each storyline is focused on couple of the book’s main themes. John took a good time of setting up the world, it’s history & population, not a bad move at all ✅

The Shadow of the Gods 📘 has more than dozen bueno set pieces, standout moments & action segments. Gwynne really knows how to do captivating fantasy world writing that has thrilling fights etc. Svik character is a welcome comic relief in such a grim tale. Every character is written with top quality, side acts included. Many chapters in this book are compelling, they come with shocking twists along the way. Some culminate lil bit over the top fashion & that’s totally fine. ✅ Then there’s battles, in which Gywnne is very talented, maybe at top three authors who write in same field. He creates stories that start at a slow pace, while working towards an mind satisfying conclusion. Often andom leaps in action to keep the pace at flow with bueno rate. The ending is perrfect, it changes a lot. I look forward to winding down with sequel when time is ready 📘🧘♂️🍵
It didn’t fail me at all. Critics who are payed to bash WB should be ashamed.
Black Adam DCU movie is entertaining when not expecting to see Da Vinci Code level production & it’s 110% worthy of support. It’s even a bit generic as mostly haters / neutrals say, that doesn’t bother me with this DCU action movie. I’ll give second viewing for Black Adam later on weekend 🎥 PLOT: Black Adam who is the mythical hero of the occupied city of Kahndaq, is released into modern times. While Adrianna Tomaz who freed him & her family hoped he would then liberate his people as a sign of gratitude. Her dream didn’t happen as Black Adam is not the hero they think he is. He hides a secret that puts him in no good position with the Justice Society of America, those who want to stop his deadly rampage. Brief rundown through this solid big character addition into DCU.
Dwayne has put a lot of effort into making Black Adam to stand out of the big crowd, with a clear desire to make Black Adam his new signature character. He gives the character a legit dark side, for example to have him kill without hesitation. Even Black Adam doesn’t allow second thoughts for doing that, all of it is swept away cause of Dwayne nailing the humor, action & memorable relationship with the kid. This kid reminds Adam of his own lost child, that giving more touchy feels for viewer. Something about supporting characters: Brosnan is terrific as Dr. Fate. He’s kinda like mirror image of MCU’s Dr.Strange. Yes Dr. Fate was created before Dr. Strange ^^ Dr. Fate senses that Black Adam’s powers could be used for helping others. Brosnan’s presense on screen is always so strong that good viewer understands not to take munchies while he’s around. Hawkman is played by talented Aldis Hodge. Hawkman is presented as Dr. Fate’s protege. He’s a much harder-edged hero who takes too much pride in being essentially a peacekeeper for the mortal world. Then there’s also few other characters who have non humie strength. One of them is Cyclone, who’s appearance is sort of annoying cause of overusing slow motion. Though, then again it worked out well in another beautiful cinema art called 300 so it’s use is not so bad.

Verdictioz: As a whole Black Adam DCU movie is a giant scaled beautiful action flick, with Jaume Collet Serra doing a fantastico job on the action scenes. Those that DP Lawrence Sher beautifully photographed ^^ I have to say that Black Adam Comic Book Live Adaptation is better than many DCU & MCU productions. I’ve been a huge DC fan for twenty seven years so it’s great to see these less known characters get to shine on a live act production. Supporting characters in this movie are kinda bleh & drag it down. There was too much of the “Justice Society” & not enough of the evil corporation or the main antagonist. Black Adam movie has a great movie under the surface. Feels like WBstill doesn’t know how to make supah-hero movies or antihero on this case. That on mind didn’t stop me from enjoying this because i didn’t think i was going to have this much fun watching it ^^ When i went to watch in local theater, people behaved as should & viewing experience was good. It’s a solid film that makes ‘The Rock‘ look like a legit antihero badass. It has good cgi, mostly spot on acting, good humor & fun supah-hero boomz flick. Happy for supporting it through few ways & also DCU that needs saving from it’s current state.
David Zaslav who is ceo & president of warner bros has made eight years plan with colleagues for comic adaptations into cinema & telly show format. Blue Beetle coming out before mid next year & Shazam before that. I’m not hyping for Shazam 2 because of villain casting, but really looking forward to Blue Beetle & happy to support it in Cinemas with two viewings ^^ I guess that Karate Kid‘s audience will support it as well because ‘Blue Beetle‘ movie character is played by talented cheery hearted Xolo Maridueña who is ‘Miguel Diaz’ in the series. Hopefully this eight year plan turns out ok & bummer to know that Aquaman 2 comes at end of next year cause of delays put in use at end of last summer. I hope that manyyy go to watch Black Adam on cinema before it vanishes 20.11 & comes into Hbo Max on early December. I’ll stream it there twice a month for first few months. This Land is My Land
This Land Is My Land is a stealth action game set in an open world resembling the 19th-century American frontier. Players control a male indigenous protagonist, with no reference to any specific tribe or time period, as well as NPC allies to assist in scouting & other duties. The gameplay revolves around stemming the invasion of non-indigenous settlers into indigenous territory. The player can use weapons, set traps, baits & mount a horse to enjoy sceneries while on travels with human’s old four legged friend.
Every playthrough is different because the world changes every time a player restarts the game. Cities grow with different ways, camps develop in altered places & patrols take new routes. Because of this good design, the player doesn’t have any reference points from the last playthrough. This Land is My Land also has a “karma” feature that penalizes the player for taking violent revenge on invading colonizers.
